     If you can’t wait to log onto the Internet to check how the conditions are at your favorite slopes, now’s there’s an easier way to find out the snow report.

      Log onto www.rubbersnow.com and sign up for a snow report that’s sent directly to your cell phone as a text message.

      The report has everything you need to prepare for the slopes, including surface conditions, average base depth, 24-hour snowfall, open terrain and lifts operating. Mountains in Maine include Sugarloaf and Sunday River. If you’re heading out of state, there are alerts for mountains in other parts of New England, too.
